Sitting deep in your spirit is TRUTH. Your DNA was programmed with truth and nothing can change what that is.
However the world, others around you and society at large can in error speak and manifest actions that are not in alignment with that same truth. In essence they speak against the original intention of creation.
Teachers and parents often speak to children “you cannot” when in fact the truth is they can! Words such as “you’re driving me mad” are lies, as our behaviour cannot drive others mad unless there is a platform in them for offence to land: that being the responsibility of the other person, not us.
Friends through jealousy can ‘put us down’ and colleagues competing with us at work can intentionally or unintentionally set out to destroy who we are in order to promote themselves.
Likewise the rejection of a friend can hold power to hurt us because we have attached ourselves to them through need. We open doors to fear and depression because we had expectations of situations, people and opportunities; as opposed to understanding the rules of how through our own insecurity we bring on ourselves negative feelings and loss.
We live in the complexity of a mix of other people’s emotions, fears, mindsets, insecurities, ambitions, egos and behaviour patterns. This of course can affect us minute by minute UNLESS we either separate ourselves in isolation (which is impossible to do) OR fully know who we have been created to be. When we understand ourselves and are confident in who we are then that truth becomes the authority, rather than the misconceptions of others.
Therefore to remain true to who we are and to operate in authenticity and trust we have a responsibility to first find out what the truth is, so that we can recognise a lie. Once we know that truth and partner with it, we are able to break all agreement with anything that takes on another form.
However if we don’t know the truth, we are daily aligning ourselves with manipulation, control, judgement and deceit, and are opening ourselves up to hurt, rejection and fear. Hence it is VITAL that we spend time finding our identity and understanding who we are.
How do we do this? How do we comprehend our unique DNA and understand the fingerprint we have authority to imprint?
We do it not through striving but through separating ourselves from the world around us and spending time sitting in the quiet place in our heart meeting with our creator.
In intimacy is love fully experienced and in learning of the power of that love do we glimpse more and more what it means to take on the identity of that perfection. From a seat of rest, as opposed to activity, we slowly pass through a refining where we are purified. The dross falls away as we face the intensity of the fire and we are transformed as we understand how love reveals itself. In this place nothing else can satisfy. Once one has seen the face of glory we desire only more. We hunger after righteousness and justice: we are morphed not into a ‘new’ us but back into who we were always created to be.
We come full circle to finally understand that although interconnected with others, we are unique in that we choose to either agree or disagree with how others operate. Once we stand on TRUTH we march ahead with love as the force behind us which can transition us to the destiny that sits calling on our life.
Not fully knowing who we are causes CONFUSION because there is a dichotomy between what the world is telling us and manifesting, and what our spirit is revealing. Therefore finding our true identity is not only the key to real FREEDOM but is the pass that gives us constant access to fresh daily revelation straight from the throne room of grace.
